White fuzzy things? Are they particulate suspended, or resting on the bottom? Could be a type of algea. Could also be something like the seeds of a cottonwood tree that have blown in the pool. Or it could also be water mold, among other things. If you can vacuum it out, this is the best scenario. If not and the chlorine level is sufficient and you are not seeing improvement, you may need to add an algaecide.
