We opened our pool today. The maintenance people did not remove the leaf webbing before it snowed so we had lots of dead leaves. The smell in the yard from the leaves is horrible. We bagged most but the water removed from the cover was pumped onto our grass. What can I put on the grass to reduce this smell? Thanks.

Without damaging the grass, fresh water. Also, spread the material out to aid in the breakdown process.
