We backwashed our New pool for the first time and some DE got into the pool. We vacuumed it up, but is that enough? Is it dangerous to swim in?

Answer:

You can safely swim. The DE in water is not nearly as dangerous as airborne particles that you breathe in. As always, avoid swallowing any water as well.
