My husband and I had to have our above ground pool liner replaced. The bottom of the pool has a large area that has turned white. My husband maintains the chemicals. Can you give us some idea what has caused this and how we can clear it up?
Answer:
We're there any chemicals setting on the bottom for an extended time, particularly chlorine which if left to settle on the bottom has the potential to bleach the liner. It could also be scale that would need to be scrubbed to remove and perhaps treated chemically with stain/scale remover.
