My apartment pool uses salt water and cleans every Monday. I only let my kids swim on Tuesdays, because after that, the water becomes murky and foggy…Am I right to do this? They complain that it isn’t fair and their friends don’t seem to understand, but I’ve heard too many horror stories about foggy, murky water. The apartment has one pool and about 100 visitors or more per day with only one weekly cleaning.

You may be wise to be cautious. However, if you check the chlorine and pH levels and they are acceptable, it is probably safe to swim.
