I purchased a brand new intex pool and purchased seperatly a salt water pump. I installed as instructions and for the first 2 weeks no problem, now i’m green! what do i do ? can i put a shock in it? i thought i didn’t have to put hazardous chemicals in the pool after the salt water pump was installed.

Your pool is essentially a chlorine pool, just getting chlorine through the generator and salt (the generator converts the sodium chloride to free chlorine). Therfore, shocking is recommended periodically and algaecide may also be helpful.
