I just got an above ground 15′ by 30” pool, and I’m setting it up today. It comes with chlorine tablets but i know water already has chlorine in it. When should i put the tablets in the pool?

Right away. There is not enough of the right type of chlorine in tap water to make a significant difference with your swimming pool.
