First, test the water for free chlorine, pH and total alkalinity. You should do this at least 2X per week. Test strips can be used for this to get quick reliable results. Then in may be as simple as adjusting the chlorine or the pH if the test results are out of range. Both can cause cloudy water when they are out of range.
