I have a 8000 gallon pool … sfter testing the cl levels and ph levels…. cl reads .5 and ph reads 6.8 what do I need to do to get this balanced…new pool owner HELP!! :)

Answer:

The chlorine should be just a little higher, but is not bad. Add a little more chlorine to bring it up. The pH should also be adjusted up using sodium carbonate (soda ash) to get to 7.2 or so.
