Answer:

Just know that your fresh water can have an impact on the overall water chemistry. Chlorine may be affected, etc. Also, if you suspect that you have metals in your source water you would want to add a metal removal chemical to be sure you do not oxidize the metals and cause stain/scale in the pool.
