I had purchased the hth super algae guard for the pool I followed the instructions but after putting some the water became cloudy and foggy?? Did I do something wrong or is thats how its suppose to look?

This is fairly typical and it should clear up rather quickly. If not, check and balance the pH which is important for keeping this in solution.
