Question:
Hi,
I run an in home child care so we are not allowed to have pools during the work week. We really want a pool for the weekends. Is it crazy to buy an inflatable Intex or Summer Escape pool and think that we could set it up and take it down 2-3 times a month on the weekends? We’ve never had one so I just don’t know if it’s going to be so much work that it’s not worth it. Any advice would be great.
Answer:
I suppose it is a matter of preference. A small inflatable pool can be set up in as little as 30 minutes or so and then however long it takes to fill the pool wtih water (depending on flow rate and size). Tear it down in just a few minutes. The water can be an issue (are you on city water - for example) and where do we drain it to (a few hundred gallons)? Maintaining the water for just a weekend would also be easy. So, there are a few points of consideration. Good luck with your decision.
