Hi-i just put up and filled an 18′ x 48″ intex above ground pool. It took two days to fill it and the water was crystal clear. As soon as I shocked the pool-it turned deep brown. After reading about the metal in the water issue, I added metal remover to the pool. I’m wondering how long this might take to work and any other advice. I’m not keen on draining the pool and am hoping to balance the water correctly. Test strips indicate ph etc. Levels to be in normal range. Thank you

The metal removers should start to show improvement in at least 24 hours. Also, depending on the metal levels more than one dose may be necessary.
